Scorekeep keeps score for the games you already play — Hand & Foot, Yahtzee, Phase 10, Cribbage, Hearts, Spades, Euchre, Farkle, Bowling, Darts, Cornhole, Qwixx, SkyJo and more. It knows each game's real scoring rules, so bonuses, penalties, and targets are handled for you. It is free, has no ads, no in-app purchases, and no account.
Common Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no paywall, no subscription, no advertising, and no limit on how many games you can track.
Do I need an account?
No. Scorekeep has no sign-in at all. Players are just names you type.
Do my games sync between my iPhone and iPad?
Yes, if both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud enabled. Sync uses your own private iCloud database — nothing goes to a server we run. If you are not signed in to iCloud, the app works normally and keeps everything on that one device.
My games aren't syncing.
Confirm both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account and that Scorekeep is enabled under iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud. Sync happens in the background, so give it a minute on a good connection. Settings → Diagnostics inside the app shows your iCloud account status and recent sync activity.
How do I fix a score I typed wrong?
Tap any score in the round grid to reopen that round and change it — past rounds included, not just the current one. To undo the whole last round, use Undo Last Round on the scoreboard.
How do I delete a game?
Swipe left on it on the Home screen, or press and hold the row and choose Delete. You can also delete from inside a game using the menu in the top-right of the scoreboard.
Can I change the players after a game has started?
Yes. Open the game and use Edit Players.
My game isn't in the list.
Use Freeform for any game scored with plain numbers, or Win Tracker for games that only have a winner and no score. If there's a specific game you'd like added properly, email us — that's how most of the list got built.
Where do I see the rules for a game?
Open the Games catalog from the Home screen toolbar and tap the book icon on any game, or tap How to Play while a game is running.
How do I back up or move my games?
Settings → Export Backup writes a JSON file you can save anywhere. Import Backup merges it back in.
How do I start over?
Settings → Delete All Data. It asks for confirmation first, and it cannot be undone.
