Regen reads from Apple Health to compute recovery, training load, and freshness for hybrid athletes. Available on iPhone and Apple Watch with a complication.
Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Regen. Make sure HRV, Resting Heart Rate, Sleep, and Workouts are all enabled. Then force-quit and relaunch Regen.
Recovery is computed from HRV, RHR, sleep, and recent training load relative to your personal baseline. It needs ~14 days of data to stabilize. Email us if you think it's miscalibrated after that period.
Freshness is how rested your body is right now relative to recent training. High freshness = ready for hard efforts. Low freshness = recover before pushing again.
Sleep quality is on the verdict-first refit roadmap (Sprint VF). Currently we use sleep duration only.
Complications refresh on the Watch's schedule. Force a refresh by opening the Watch app, then re-adding the complication. Make sure Regen has Watch app permissions.
No. All HealthKit data is processed entirely on-device. We have no backend account. See privacy.
