Regen Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Everlight Digital ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Regen recovery dashboard ("Regen") on iPhone and Apple Watch.
Information We Collect
- Account data: Regen uses Sign in with Apple or email + password via Firebase Authentication. We store the resulting account identifier and, if applicable, your email address.
- Health data (read on-device): If you grant HealthKit permission, Regen reads heart-rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate (RHR), sleep, active energy, workout history, body mass, and related metrics from Apple Health. The raw HealthKit samples are read on-device and are not transmitted by Regen.
- Derived health summaries (synced to your private Firebase account): Daily summary metrics (HRV, RHR, sleep duration, training load), workout sessions, morning check-ins, session-feel ratings, and training goals are written to your private Firestore document so they sync across iPhone and Apple Watch and survive a reinstall.
- AI Coach Notes (optional): If you use Coach Notes, a sanitized workout summary is sent through our Cloud Functions proxy to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the note. Raw HealthKit samples are not sent.
- Settings: Unit preferences, dashboard configuration, and notification preferences stored locally.
- Device / diagnostic data: Device model, iOS version, watchOS version, app version, and crash logs.
How We Use Information
- To compute your recovery score, training load, baseline, and freshness
- To display dashboards, charts, and history
- To send the notifications you have enabled
- To diagnose crashes and improve the app
How We Share Information
- Apple HealthKit — read access only, on-device, controlled by you in iOS Settings > Health
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, push notifications)
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions) — processes derived health summaries, check-ins, training goals, workouts, and account data on our behalf
- Anthropic — if you use Coach Notes, a sanitized workout summary is sent through our Cloud Functions proxy to Anthropic's Claude API
We do not sell your data and Regen contains no advertising trackers. Raw HealthKit samples never leave your device.
Children
Regen is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your Rights
You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy > Health > Regen. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. EU/UK users have GDPR rights; California users have CCPA rights. Contact brendan@everlight-digital.com.
Security
HealthKit data is encrypted by iOS. App data is sandboxed per Apple platform standards.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app.
