Common Questions

How do I invite my spouse or family member?

Open Me → Household → Invite. Send the invite link via Messages or email. The recipient taps the link in Olive on their device and joins your household.

The invite link didn't work for my spouse.

Make sure the recipient has Olive installed before tapping the link. If the link still fails, both members should sign out, reinstall the app, then resend the invite. Email us if it still fails.

How do I set up Kid Mode?

Me → Family → Kid Mode → Set Up. You'll set a parent PIN and pick which child profile to lock the device into. Kid Mode disables analytics and restricts the app to a child-safe view. Exit Kid Mode by entering the PIN.

Why isn't my grocery list updating on my spouse's phone?

Sync runs in the background. Pull-to-refresh on the Grocery list. If still missing, check both devices are signed into the same household (Me → Household).

Olive Assistant didn't understand my request.

Olive Assistant is in early release. Try simpler phrasing ("add milk to grocery", "remind me Tuesday at 5pm"). Email us with the exact phrase that failed so we can improve.

How do I cancel Olive Plus?

iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Olive → Cancel.

How do I delete my Olive account?

Me → Account → Delete Account. This removes your data from our backend within 30 days. See privacy policy.
