Halcyon is a clean weather app with hourly forecasts, daily forecasts, radar, severe-weather alerts, and AQI/pollen data. Available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch with a home-screen widget.

Common Questions

Weather isn't loading.

Halcyon needs network access plus location permission (iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Halcyon). On a fresh install, allow up to 30 seconds for the first WeatherKit fetch. If still empty after a minute, force-quit and relaunch.

Radar isn't showing tiles.

Radar uses RainViewer tiles. Confirm network connectivity and that Halcyon has location permission. The radar redesign launched in version 1.1.0; older versions had a different radar layer.

How do I remove ads?

Upgrade to Premium ($6.99/yr). Me → Upgrade. Premium also unlocks extras described on the upgrade screen.

Ads are showing even after I subscribed.

Open Me → Restore Purchases. If still showing ads, force-quit and relaunch. Email us if it persists.

How do I add a city?

Tap the location title at the top → "Search" or pencil icon → type a city. Saved locations appear in a swipeable list.

The widget isn't updating.

Widgets refresh on iOS's schedule. Tapping the widget opens the app and forces a refresh. Verify the widget shows the location you expect — long-press → Edit Widget → pick location.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Halcyon → Cancel.
