Common questions
Why is the ESV not showing up?
The ESV translation is fetched on demand from Crossway's non-commercial API. If you do not have network access, the app falls back to the bundled public-domain translations (KJV, ASV, WEB). If the daily 5,000-request quota is reached, ESV will return a "try again later" message and you can switch translations in the picker.
Where is my Circle data stored?
In an Apple CloudKit shared zone tied to your Apple ID. Everlight Digital does not run a server for Circles and cannot read their contents. See the privacy addendum.
My data did not sync to my other device.
Confirm both devices are signed in to the same Apple ID and that iCloud is enabled for Pilgrim under Settings → Apple ID → iCloud. Sync requires a network connection and can take a few minutes after launch.
How do I leave a Circle?
Open the Circle, tap the settings icon, then tap "Leave Circle." Your local copy of that Circle's posts is removed.
Is Pilgrim free?
Yes. Version 1 ships with no In-App Purchase, no subscription, and no advertising. If that changes in a future version we will publicly communicate the change well before it ships.
