Persue Prayer Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Everlight Digital ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Persue Prayer app ("Persue Prayer").

Information We Collect

Account information: Email and authentication identifier when you sign in.
Your content: Prayer lists, prayer entries, answered prayers, schedules, streaks, journal entries, sermon notes, mortification (sin tracking) entries, accountability check-ins, memory verses, and reading-plan progress. This sensitive personal-reflection content is stored in your private iCloud (Apple CloudKit) container, with migration to Google Firebase in progress.
Biometric authentication: If you enable Face ID or Touch ID app lock, biometric matching happens entirely on-device via Apple's Local Authentication framework. We never receive biometric data.
Device data: Device model, iOS version, app version, and crash logs.

How We Use Information

To authenticate you and identify your subscription status
To sync your prayers and journal across your devices
To send the prayer reminders and notifications you have enabled
To deliver in-app purchases and manage your subscription
To diagnose crashes and improve the app

How We Share Information

Apple (CloudKit, Sign in with Apple, App Store, push notifications) — sync, auth, delivery
Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore — migration in progress) — sign-in and sync
RevenueCat — subscription management

We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers. Sensitive content (mortification entries, accountability check-ins) is excluded from Spotlight indexing.

Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can export and delete your data from Settings > Data. Account deletion removes your Firebase identity and removes Firestore data within 30 days; CloudKit data is controlled by you in your iCloud account.

EU/UK users have GDPR rights; California users have CCPA rights. Contact bpratt116@gmail.com to exercise them.

Security

All network requests use HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored in iOS Keychain. Biometric matching is on-device only.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app.
