Pasture Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Everlight Digital ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Pasture, a cattle-tracking web app for small US family farms.
Information We Collect
- Google account info: When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and a Google account identifier.
- Google OAuth tokens: We store the tokens that let Pasture write to your Google Calendar and Google Sheets on your behalf (see below).
- Farm data you enter: Cattle records (ear tags, sex, birth dates, weights, sale prices), events (births, vaccinations, weaning, banding, breeding, worming, sales, deaths, notes), farm names, and your reminder and display preferences.
Google Calendar & Sheets Access
Pasture requests permission to write to your Google Calendar and Google Sheets. We use this only to mirror the cattle events you create in Pasture into a calendar and a spreadsheet that you own, so your records stay in tools you already use. Pasture does not read unrelated calendar events or spreadsheets, and does not sell or share this data.
Pasture's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How We Use Information
- To run the app — store and display your herd and event records
- To sync events into your own Google Calendar and Google Sheet
- To keep you signed in and let you sign out of all sessions
We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your farm data to train AI models.
How We Share Information

- Railway — application and database hosting (US region)
We do not sell your data.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (US region). Google OAuth tokens are stored to maintain the Calendar and Sheets sync; access is limited to the running application. All network requests use HTTPS.
Your Rights & Choices
- Revoke Google access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. This stops the calendar and sheet sync.
- Delete your data: Email brendan@everlight-digital.com and we will delete your account, farm data, and stored tokens.
- EU/UK users have GDPR rights; California users have CCPA rights.
Children
Pasture is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
