About Chrona
Chrona is a calendar and task app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Type plans in plain language ("Lunch with Emily tomorrow at noon") and Chrona schedules them. A full to-do system — projects, tags, checklists, deadlines, and time-blocking — lives right alongside your calendar. Your data stays on your device and syncs privately across your Apple devices through iCloud. No account, no login.
Common Questions
Do I need an account to use Chrona?
No. Chrona has no accounts and no login. Everything is stored on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, your calendar and tasks sync privately across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac through your own iCloud account — we never see your data.
What is free and what is Chrona Pro?
The calendar and iCloud sync are free, always. Chrona Pro unlocks the to-do system (projects, tags, checklists, deadlines), time-blocking / "Plan My Day," habits, and the 10-day weather forecast on your schedule. Pro is available monthly, yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
My tasks or calendar aren't syncing between devices.
Sync uses iCloud. Make sure every device is signed into the same Apple ID and that iCloud Drive is on (Settings → [your name] → iCloud). Sync happens in the background and can take a minute after a change. If a device still isn't updating, make sure it has a network connection and relaunch Chrona.
Weather isn't showing on my schedule.
The forecast is a Chrona Pro feature and needs approximate location to know which forecast to show. Allow location when prompted, or enable it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Chrona. The forecast covers about 10 days out.
How does "Plan My Day" work?
Plan My Day looks at your unscheduled tasks for the day and proposes time blocks in your open calendar gaps. You review the proposal before anything is written, and you can clear the blocks it created at any time. It's a Chrona Pro feature.
I restored my purchase but Pro isn't unlocked.
Open the Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you bought Pro with. If it still doesn't unlock, email us and include the Apple ID email you purchased with.
Can I attach files to a task?
Yes, with Chrona Pro. Open a task, add a file or photo (up to 25 MB each), and it syncs with your task through iCloud. Viewing attachments is always available; adding them requires Pro.
Does Chrona send my data to a server?
No. Chrona has no server of its own. Your calendar and tasks live on your device and sync only through your private iCloud. The only network calls are Apple's weather service (for the forecast) and the App Store (for purchases). There are no ads and no third-party trackers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Manage or cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device. The lifetime option is a one-time purchase with nothing to cancel.
