Do I need an account?
No. Chrona has no accounts and no login. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to.
Where does my data live?
Events live in the calendars already on your device and sync through whichever account owns them. Tasks live on your device and sync privately through your own iCloud account. Everlight Digital never sees either. The full details are in the privacy policy.
Does anything get sent to a server?
Only if you choose it. The optional AI text-capture feature — turning a free-form brain dump into a list of tasks — sends the text you typed to a processing service, and only after you confirm an on-screen consent prompt. An on-device option is always available, and choosing it means nothing is transmitted.
What is free, and what is Pro?
The calendar, the natural-language Quick Add, Calendar Sets, and iCloud sync are free. Chrona Pro unlocks the task system (projects, tags, checklists, deadlines), time-blocking and Plan My Day, habits, attachments, and the 10-day forecast on your schedule. Pro is monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Does Chrona replace Apple Calendar?
It reads and writes the same calendars, so you can use both. Anything you create in Chrona appears in Apple Calendar and vice versa.
Does it work on iPad and Mac?
Yes — iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with keyboard shortcuts and a menu-bar item on the Mac.
Are there ads or trackers?
No advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking SDKs.
